This presentation will examine the legal and practical challenges fiduciaries and their counsel face when working to protect an elderly person whose infirmities of aging have left them increasingly vulnerable to exploitation. The presentation will summarize the legal avenues available to protect a vulnerable adult from exploitation, along with practical strategies fiduciaries and their counsel can use to navigate the difficult issues these cases present.
